As part of the recently agreed cooperation with MAN, Quantron is offering the electrification of the 7.5-ton MAN TGL series, among other things. This is made possible by numerous leasing returns and young used vehicles. If required, Quantron also equips these with a fuel cell.
The Quantron version of a TGL 7.5-ton truck with a box or tarpaulin will then be a QHM-8-130 - and will come with a new chassis number, a range of around 250 kilometers, a 150 kW engine and a five-year warranty for the battery. The sales price for this model is currently 219,500 euros, is reported.
Used zero-emission vehicles save twice as much CO2
The cooperation with MAN TopUsed gives Quantron access to used vehicles, which can then be converted for their future customers according to their needs, either fully electric or with a fuel cell - on average within six to eight weeks. After that, the vehicles in question will start their second, quiet and CO2-free life. On top of that, CO2 emissions are saved through the lack of production of new e-vehicles, Quantron emphasizes.
